conversation between myself and my egyptian officemate:
ofcmate: "my new stepmother is complaining. she says that my father doesn't love her blah blah blah"
me: "so why did she marry your father?"
ofcmate: "you know because she's already old. she's 35 and she doesn't have any place to stay."
me: "umm..adel, i'm 35."
ofcmate: (looking sheepish).."i did not mean that you are old..."
