Good News, Bad News

Since I have been too lazy to email my friends and I’ve been too busy (or sleepy) to chat with them, I’ll just post this piece to update you guys on my so-called life:

Good News – I got promoted after 11 months on the job! I also got a new assignment which I hope will not be as boring as the one I have now. My sweetie Empoy got offered a job in a UNDP-sponsored project. We both got the news on the same day. Isn’t that great?
Bad News – New job assignment – same boss.

Good News – I lost some weight (at least that’s what I’ve been told)
Bad News - I have this cough for more than a month now. Yesterday my boss told me to see a doctor...again.

Good News – We finally found a house for my mom.
Bad News – The house is in San Fernando, Pampanga. It will also put a considerable dent on my wallet hehehe.

Good News – I’m going home for a vacation in April!
Bad News – I’ll only be in Manila for a month. Shopping for pasalubongs is a very challenging exercise.

Good News – HP7 will be out in July.
Bad News – There’s only one English bookstore in Doha. I hope they ordered enough copies for all HP fans here in Qatar.
