friday five

A friend suggested that we start blogging ala friday five. he already posted his blog yesterday and now it's my turn.

1.) Do you like your birth-name? Why?

— I like my birthname if i need to fill up official documents and forms - it sounds so formal kasi hahaha! I also like writing my name in full - spell out talaga ang maria instead of the usual "Ma." But i prefer my nickname for day-to-day stuff. i think the only ones who call me by my first name are my grade school classmates and teachers.

2.) If you could change your name to anything else, what would it be?

— Probably something more androgynous or better yet more masculine. I like to keep people off-balance.

3.) What names would you consider giving your children?

— Something unique, easy to spell and easy to pronounce. Also androgynous para kahit girl or boy puwede hehehe!

4.) If you had a band, what would you name it, and why?

— The Friday Five? hahahaha! Obvious ba na tamad mag-isip?

5.) Is there a name that you completely hate? Why?

— Kris, Chris, Tina, Christine. No one in his/her right mind would call me by these names - baka hindi sila makauwi ng buhay sa nanay nila.
